Having over five years of surgical training, Dr. Recalde completed medical school at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Ecuador. Following medical school, Dr. Recalde completed her training in plastic surgery at the same university and earned a membership in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Recalde chose to become a plastic surgeon because of the wide variety of work the field offers and for the life-changing nature of the job. Plastic surgery has a physical, emotional, and mental impact on patients’ lives which overall attributes to a positive personal perception. Dr. Recalde loves to bring her energy to each patient and believes that no concern is too minor; If they care, she cares.
